Tim Barga, Mississinawa Valley, 37th season: Barga earns the distinction as the dean of area coaches. He collected most of 562 career wins as the Versailles girls coach. He also coached girls teams at Fairlawn, Russia and Yellow Springs. This is his fifth season as coach of the Blackhawks boys in the Cross County Conference.
Paul Bremigan, Troy, 35th season: Russia's loss was Troy's gain. Bremigan amassed most of his 462 career wins in 31 seasons as the Russia boys coach. That included 11 sectional, eight conference, five district and one regional title and a state final four in 2002. He landed the Troy position after retiring from teaching in 2015.

Joe Staley, Chaminade Julienne, 34th season: A 1972 Chaminade alum who excelled for former Eagles coach Jim Turvene. Staley landed the CJ coaching job in 1984. He's been a fixture ever since to go with 433 career wins.
John Willoughby, Sidney, 33rd season: Like Barga and Bremigan, Willoughby also collected most of his 378 careers wins as the boys coach at Houston for 30 seasons. Sidney (18-7) won the GWOC American North for the season straight season and is boosted by the return to senior Andre Gordon, who transferred back from Huntington Prep (W.Va.).

Tony Augspurger, Twin Valley South, 32nd season: Also the school's longtime athletic director, Augspurger has 427 career wins, all with the Panthers.
Pat Kreke, Fenwick, 31st season: Has overseen the transition of Falcons boys basketball into a major GCL Co-Ed North player along with Alter, CJ and Carroll. Has 364 careers wins and one less kidney after donating the organ to Fenwick grad Pat English in 2002.

Honorable mention
Allen Mack, Miami East, 26th season: Among his 405 career wins, all with the Vikings, are three state final four teams, including the D-III championship in 1996.
Paul Stone, Oakwood, 23rd season: The Lumberjacks' former head football coach, Stone spent five seasons as Oakwood's girls basketball coach and the last 17 seasons coaching Oakwood's boys. Owns 303 combined career wins.
