College Basketball: Dayton women stay perfect in Atlantic 10


The University of Dayton women’s basketball team keeps rolling along in the Atlantic 10.

The Flyers stayed perfect in A-10 play Wednesday night with a 66-59 win at Richmond.

Jayla Scaife scored 15 points and JaVonna Layfield notched a double-double (10 pionts, 15 rebounds) to pace the Flyers (15-4, 8-0 A-10).

Jenna Burdette added 14 points, Alex Harris had 11 and Lauren Cannatelli 10.

Micaela Parson scored a game-high 21 points to pace Richmond (7-14, 2-6).

Dayton returns to action Saturday at Davidson.
