Dayton’s game against Tulsa is one of several non-conference games that have already been announced. Mississippi State released part of its schedule May 1 and announced it will play at Dayton on Nov. 30.

Dayton will also play a road game at Auburn and three games in November in the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas. The possible opponents are: Virginia, Middle Tennessee State, Butler, Florida, Oklahoma, Stanford and Wisconsin.

Dayton has played Tulsa twice, losing 63-60 on Nov. 22, 1984 at Riverfront Coliseum in Cincinnati and losing 84-71 in the first round of the NCAA tournament in 2003 in Spokane, Wash.

Tulsa plays in the American Athletic Conference and finished 19-12 last season. It ranked 89th in the RPI. Dayton (14-17) ranked 152nd.

Tulsa’s coach, Frank Haith, is 77-52 in four seasons. Tulsa loses two of its top-three scorers from last season: Junior Etou (15.0 points per game) and Corey Henderson Jr. (10.5).
