Davis, who graduated in the spring, and walk-on guard Joey Gruden, who earned his degree last December, were the only Dayton seniors last season. Davis scored 531 points in his first three seasons and 477 in his final season, coming close to doubling his career total.

In his last game, the guard from Detroit became the 48th player in Dayton history to reach 1,000 points. He scored 14 in Dayton's 77-72 loss to Virginia Commonwealth in the second round of the Atlantic 10 tournament.
