First Bengals player appears in NFL Network Top 100 countdown


The first Cincinnati Bengals player to appear on the NFL Network’s countdown of the Top 100 players of 2018 was defensive tackle Geno Atkins.

The six-time Pro Bowler came in at No. 63 Monday night when the network unveiled spots 70-61.

Atkins, who was No. 68 last year, was one of three defensive tackles on Monday’s list, with Tennessee’s Jurrell Casey coming in at 66 and Miami’s Ndamukong Suh at 61.

It’s the fifth time Atkins has appeared in the Top 100. His highest ranking was 29th in 2016 .
