The 6-foot-1, 220-pound Wynn had 35 tackles in five games for the Elks last season.
He is Ohio’s No. 56 player in the 247Sports Composite rankings and a three-star prospect.
As a junior, Wynn logged 96 stops, including 2.5 sacks, and forced four fumbles en route to first-team All-GWOC recognition.

He committed to Akron in June, but the Zips announced last week coach Terry Bowden would not be retained after seven years on the job.
Coach Chuck Martin’s 2019 Miami class ranks No. 68 nationally and No. 2 in the MAC after adding Wynn, the No. 60 linebacker in the country.
He is the second-highest-rated recruit in RedHawks class, trailing only Brett Gabbert, a quarterback from St. Louis.
