Middletown’s Kayla Harrison wins second pro MMA fight

Kayla Harrison improved to 2-0 in her professional mixed-martial arts career Thursday night.

The Middletown native beat Jozette Cotton via TKO in a featured bout on Pro Fighters League 6.

Harrison mostly dominated the fight, but Cotton proved to be a tough customer.

The action was finally stopped in the third round with Harrison dropping a flurry of punches from top position.

Harrison is a two-time Olympic gold medalist in judo transitioning into the professional fight game.

She won her pro debut via submission at a PFL event in Chicago in June.
