NFL Draft: Cincinnati Bengals get a quarterback in 7th round

After using six of their first eight picks on defensive players, the Cincinnati Bengals wrapped their 2018 draft by taking three consecutive offensive players with the 249th, 252nd and 253rd overall picks.

The Bengals kicked off the three-pick flurry by grabbing Toledo quarterback Logan Woodside, who was a three-year starter for the Rockets, completing 65.1 percent of his passes with 93 touchdowns and 25 interceptions. Forty-five of his TDs came in 2016 when he led the FBS.

The final two picks were Mississippi offensive lineman Rod Taylor and Florida State wide receiver Auden Tate.

Taylor played tackle his final two years at Ole Miss but projects as a guard in the NFL.

Tate (6-4, 228) took over as a starter halfway through his sophomore year before starting all 12 games last year with 40 catches for 548 yards and 10 touchdowns.
