HS Roundup 11/28: Bohanon leads Wayne girls past Fairmont

Destiny Bohanon poured in 24 points and Nyla Hampton added 12 to help Wayne defeat Fairmont 64-48 in Wednesday girls basketball.

Wayne pulled away with a 12-1 run in the second quarter.

Madison Bartley finished with 14 points and seven rebounds for Fairmont.

Beavercreek 56, Springfield 35: Anna Landing led ‘Creek with 18 points and Kirsten Williams tacked on 12. Mickayla Perdue paced Springfield with 13 points.

Centerville 54, Springboro 51: Alexis Hutchison and Amy Velasco combined for 28 points to lead Centerville. Peyton Nation netted 12 for ‘Boro.

Fairfield 56, Ross 19: Karlee Mills finished with 13 points and Zahrya Bailey added 12 for Fairfield.

Lakota East 46, Seton 43: Jordan Stanley scored 11 points and Jessica Motley hauled in 11 rebounds to lead Lakota East.

Lebanon 58, Northmont 48: Kendall Folley poured in 27 points to help Lebanon pull away in the final quarter. Shalaya Heath had 14 points for Northmont.

Tippecanoe 50, Sidney 27: Ashleigh Mader tallied 18 points and Katie Hemmelgarn added 12 to lead Tippecanoe.

Trotwood 45, Fairborn 38: Sha’Mya Leigh totaled 10 points for Trotwood. Evelyn Oktavec had 8 for Fairborn.

Boys Bowling

Ben Logan 2633, Springfield Shawnee 2555: Tyler Nicholas had games of 208 and 247 for a 455 series to help Ben Logan roll a season-high score.

Lebanon 2544, Franklin 2083: Gabe Taulbee led Lebanon with a 513 series and Dallas Stone added a 412. Jack Rebholz finished with a 415 for Franklin.

Girls Bowling

Ben Logan 2252, Springfield Shawnee 1376: Kaylee Nicholas shot a 398 series and Erica Warne added a 365 for Ben Logan.

Lebanon 2090, Franklin 1682: Kelsey Funderburg bowled a 401 series to lead Lebanon.

Wilmington 1424, Greeneview 1329: Anna Willingham led Greeneview with a 233 series.
