3. The Tiger boys' team (with Ohio State verbal commit Justin Ahrens) had already punched its ticket to regionals with a 72-59 defeat of Cincinnati North College Hill in a Division III district final at UD on Thursday night.

4. In Division IV, Tri-Village overcame a five-point deficit in the second half and beat Jackson Center 38-33 in overtime to claim its third district championship in the last four seasons.
Gavin Richards led the Patriots with 12 points.
5. Southeastern had a late lead in a Division IV district final against Cincinnati Christian, but the Trojans could not hang on.
Trevor King led Southeastern with 19 points while Andrew Lyons scored 17 in a 54-52 loss.
6. Centerville led Mason at the half but could not hold off a determined Mason squad in a Division I district final Saturday night. The Comets six-point lead late was about as far away as either team got all night.

7. And finally in the night cap Saturday at UD Arena, Springfield rallied from down five in the fourth quarter to beat Cincinnati Oak Hills 46-42 in overtime.
Leonard Taylor had a great all-around game for the Wildcats, scoring 15 points, grabbing nine rebounds and nabbing five steals.
He also had four assists while Danny Davis had a game-high 16 points to continue a special sports season in Springfield.
