Coaches: Scott Nagy is 49-25 in his third year at Wright State and 459-265 in 24 years overall. Greg Lansing is 137-127 in his ninth season at Indiana State. He’s the second coach in program history to lead the team to the NCAA tourney in his first year. The other was Bill Hodges in 1979 when Larry Bird was a senior.

About Wright State: The Raiders are coming off a 58-39 win over Division-II Cedarville where they shot a season-low 31.8 percent. They had only two games last year when they shot worse: Tennessee (31.7) and Missouri State (28.1). But they made it tough on the Yellow Jackets, who shot 23.1 percent. … The Raiders were out-rebounded in their first two games, 78-59, but they have a 190-146 advantage in the five games since then. Love, who is averaging 10 rebounds, is one of 50 players selected to the watch list for the Lou Henson Award, which goes to the nation's top mid-major player. … The Raiders have improved their 3-point shooting to 38.4 percent after hitting 33.7 last season. But Nagy wants them to look inside more to Love, saying, "The ball's got to go into him because nobody can stop him."
About Indiana State: The Sycamores are coming off an 86-57 win at San Jose State as Hughes scored 23 points and set a school record for field-goal accuracy by going 9-for-10. They shot 76 percent in the first half and 64.2 overall, their best mark in seven seasons. Jordan Barnes, who is averaging 20.3 points and was a preseason first-team All-Missouri Valley Conference pick, didn't make the trip because of concussion-like symptoms. … They've won at Green Bay and beaten Western Kentucky at home. WKU knocked off nationally ranked West Virginia. … ISU is shooting 45.5 percent from the field and 49.3 on 3-pointers. Opponents have shot 38.5 overall and 27.7 on 3's. … They were picked sixth out of 10 teams in the MVC preseason poll. Loyola, which made the Final Four last season, is the favorite.
