Matt has worked for the Springfield News-Sun covering Champaign County since 2007. He covers city and county government, schools, courts, police and fire in Champaign County. He grew up in Beavercreek and graduated from the University of Toledo in 2002. He lives in Fairborn. Sanctis worked for three years covering Sandusky County for the Fremont News-Messenger before joining the Springfield News-Sun.
