It could be shivers or sweating at Dragons home openers

When the Dayton Dragons played their Fifth Third Field opener in 2007, the high temperature was 35 degrees. Just the next year, the high was 72.

A similar swing is set for Saturday, when the Dragons will play their first home game. The forecast high of 39 degrees would be 33 degrees colder than last year.

But 39 degrees still wouldn't the coldest high temperature for a home opener. That came in 2007, when fans covered in blankets and one dressed up like Santa Claus for the occasion. The low that day was 26 degrees.
