For the Afternoon: 12PM-5PM

  1. The UV Index will be very high so even with some scattered clouds, sunscreen is needed all day.
  2. A pop-up storm could develop but most will stay dry.
  3. The temperature will be about 10 degrees warmer than normal reaching the low 90s in the afternoon.
  4. It will not only be hot but also HUMID. This combination will take the heat index up between 100-105. The heat index is a value that shows how hot it will feel. It is important to look at how humid the air is this time of year because when our bodies heat up, they start to sweat. If there is a high moisture content to the air it makes it harder for the sweat to evaporate and that cools our bodies down.

For the Fireworks: 7PM-12AM

  1. After sunset the chance for a stray shower will drop.
  2. Temperatures will still stay very warm, likely in the low to mid 80s for the shows.
  3. It will feel very muggy as well with dew points in the 70s.
