Caesar Creek State Park mecca for outdoor enthusiasts

Caesar Creek State Park, located in Warren County, offers a wide variety of activities for outdoor enthusiasts. Situated near the Little Miami River, the park and lake cover 7,941 acres, mostly in the northeast corner of Warren County. The park property belongs to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and is leased to the State of Ohio for public use.

Hikers can traverse 43 miles of trails that include mature wooded areas, prairies and lakeshore stretches.

Four bridle trails with a total of 31 miles are available for horseback riders.

The 2,830-acre lake has an unlimited horsepower designation. Five launch ramps are situated around the lake.

A public beach with a sandy 1,300-foot waterfront is located centrally on the lake.

Boaters now have the new Caesar Creek Marina, which opened in 2016. The marina features more than 100 slips available by lottery, concessions, outdoor deck seating, fuel, public restrooms and showers and laundry facilities for boat dock leaseholders.

Other activities include, fishing, hunting, mountain bike trails, picnicking and archery.

*An important not about activities at Caesar Creek State Park: Picnicking, shelters, the beach and some boat ramps do not have trash cans. These areas are considered Carry In/Carry Out. Bring your own trash bags!
